The Bathinda Municipal Corporation on August 12, 2026, issued a public notice regarding the Verification and Correction of GIS Property Records.
The Corporation has made GIS-based property/building records and UID numbers available on its website from July 1, 2025, following a city-wide property survey conducted during 2023-24. Property owners may verify details such as owner/occupant name, area, mobile number, building category and floor, and submit documentary proof for corrections at Room No. 103, First Floor, within 30 days from publication of the notice. After this period, the GIS records will be used for property tax collection and delivery of public services. The Corporation has clarified that GIS/UID records do not establish or confer legal ownership rights and have no evidentiary value for determining ownership.
